Kaiser Permanente has announced Mari Hern as its new Executive Director of IT Asset Operations and Inventory Management, where she will be responsible for managing the quality and sustainability of the company’s IT infrastructure asset data.
Hern is an experienced IT Manager with a background in process design, development and implementation of cost-effective, high-performance asset lifecycle management solutions. Most recently she served as the IT Director at Microsoft, where she successfully implemented a cross-divisional program focused on identifying and reducing costs associated with inaccurate data management. Prior to joining Microsoft, Hern spent thirteen years at America Online serving in a variety of IT roles, most recently as Senior Technical Manager of IT Asset Management. Hern earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Longwood University.
Taylor Winfield was tasked with finding an experienced IT leader who could develop an enterprise-wide asset management strategy and work closely with stakeholders to help drive process change across the IT environment. Hern brings significant experience in building, motivating and leading high-performance teams to produce quick and high-value results.
